Couples Therapy

I work with couples to enhance connection through deeper understanding of one another. Many factors influence connection including feelings, beliefs, behaviors, words, tone and body language, as well as the energy of what's left unsaid. Becoming more conscious partners involves being vulnerable and sharing deeper-level internal experiences -- the feelings, beliefs and thoughts often beneath initial responses and reactions.  The work often isn't easy, but with willingness, empathy and effort from both of you your relationship can evolve with greater closeness, connection and intimacy as you become more aware and conscious partners.

I can support you and your partner to improve connection, communication and intimacy, resolve conflicts and disagreements, and cope with challenging life events.

In addition to my holistic approach to therapy my work with couple's is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
